Terms and Conditions for the 2018 Bloody Good Dinner

AUCTION

There are 8 auction items available for bidding at the 2018 Bloody Good Dinner and the terms and conditions below relate to these items.

  1. The auction will be conducted at The Bloody Good Dinner and an auctioneer will be announcing bids and the winner of all auction items.
  2. Items will be sold to the highest eligible bidder announced at the close of bidding.
  3. Bids will not be accepted after the close of the auction.
  4. Bids are in Australian dollars. Minimum bid increments will be announced by the auctioneer.
  5. No auction item may be redeemed for cash.
  6. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of bidding.
  7. If for any reason the auction is not capable of running as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the auction holder, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the auction, the auction holder reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the auction.
  8. The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the auction or auction items except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  9. The auction holder, the Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, is fully responsible for the conduct and operation of the auction and will ensure that it complies with the applicable laws and regulations and will indemnify the prize supplier in connection with any such claims.
  10. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you the bidder accept if you are a successful winner of an item you will pay 50% of the value for the item including any surcharge or tax and delivery of all the items you win by 11pm, Wednesday 23rd May 2018. The balance must be paid within 7 days by Wednesday 30th May 2018. Items paid in full at the event will be available for collection on the night. Items paid for after the event can be collected from the Snowdome Foundation or Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision office.
  11. The auction items are not tax deductible.
  12. The highest bidding price is the final sale price for the item and no further negotiations will be entered into.
  13. Each live auction item is subject to the specific terms and conditions which are listed on the voucher.
  14. Once you have bid on an item you are agreeing to the above Terms and Conditions.
  15. Successful bidders will be announced on the Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision social media sites and any other associated publicity.

Auction Prizes – specific criteria

2019 Australian Open – On Court Seats

Valid for a one-day session from Monday 14th January to Wednesday 16th January 2019 only.  Date to be confirmed by winner by August 2018.

Sydney Twilight Division 1 Yacht Racing Experience

Ideal race dates are Wednesday evenings in November 2018 or late January/February 2019 (daylight savings).

Not transferrable to any other match.

Four nights on Orpheus Island

Must be booked within 6 months, expiry 1 May 2019. Blackout dates apply: 17 December 2018 – 30 January 2019. Cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. Valid for 2 guests only. Qantas Terms & Conditions

  1. Acceptance of this prize is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The prize consists of two business class flights from Melbourne to Cairns
  3. Tickets are valid until 22 May 2019.
  4. The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise stated, the prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, accommodation or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and companion. Qantas Airways Limited makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage.
  5. Prize travel is subject to Qantas General Conditions of Carriage and is subject to availability at the time of booking.   10. The prize is NOT valid for travel during Australian school holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year periods.

Dinner party must be held within Melbourne metro area.  Blackout dates apply and include however not limited to Portsea Polo, and each Saturday in December.

Higher Ground Dining Voucher

Voucher can be redeemed from 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.  Bookings mandatory.  Expires 23 May 2019

RAFFLE

Below are the terms and conditions for the raffle draw that will be conducted at The Bloody Good Dinner (Permit Number: 10224/18)

  1. All participants must complete a Raffle Ticket Form which will be collected by a Bloody Good Dinner helper who will process the payment and give the recipient their raffle ticket(s).
  2. All ticket purchasers must be over 18 years old.
  3. Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets that may be purchased.
  4. Raffle ticket sales will commence at the event on Wednesday 23rd May 2018, and conclude at approximately 9.30pm on the same date.
  5. All participants or a nominated delegate need to be present to claim the prize. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  6. The draw will take place on Wednesday 23 May 2018 at 10pm, at the Meat Market, North Melbourne, VIC 3051.
  7. The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision reserve the right to request winners to submit their ticket as proof of identity and purchase.
  8. If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle, subject to any direction given under state permit regulations.
  9. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
  10. Once you have purchased a raffle ticket you are agreeing to the above Terms and Conditions and any Terms and Conditions associated with each prize.
  11. Successful bidders will be announced on the Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision social media sites and any other associated publicity.

Raffle Prizes

The Crux of the Camino – Captain’s Choice

Winner may choose from one of the following three departures: 30 April, 29 May or 31 August 2019. If these dates do not suit, the total value of the winning bid may be transferred to any one of Captain’s Choice’s journeys departing in 2018 or 2019, subject to availability. The winner will have one week to claim the journey prize or transfer the total value of the winning bid to their chosen Captain’s Choice journey departing in 2018 or 2019. To claim the journey, the winner must contact Captain’s Choice by Wednesday 30 May 2018 and confirm the journey of their choice. The departure/journey is subject to availability and non-transferable.

New Mercedes – Benz A180 Hatch

Car value includes on road costs.  The contract of sale will be with the winner. The registration / ownership etc. will be arranged directly with the new owner.  Any upgrades or changes to specifications must be done directly with Mercedes-Benz after the event. The car must be registered in the name of the winner.


Triple M Hot Breakfast Radio Experience

Studio visits occur on Wednesdays.  The show runs from 6am to 9am.  No visitor to go in before 6.30am. Must be redeemed before 30th November 2018.

Spartacus by the Australian Ballet

Not transferable.  Excludes opening night.  Valid only for Melbourne performances from September 18th – 29th, 2018.  Premier room type subject to availability.

$800USD voucher excludes tip.
